They are claiming it's "reshuffling all the state agencies under the umbrella of 1 unelected Health Czar to legislate and establish your rights. California had a Health Czar, and it's how they were able to have one of the strictest mandates in the country during the Pandemic. This Fauci like unelected individual, has no business telling SC Citizens what to do. This is the most dangerous bill to ever come out of the house.

Definition of a Health Czar According to the bill itself, "Section 44-12-20.  The Secretary of Health and Policy shall be the head and governing authority of the office. The secretary must be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate, subject to removal from office by the Governor pursuant to the provisions of Section 1-3-240(B)."
